To make things easier on Windows I put together a "Windows Development
Environment" for Erlang. It's still a work in progress, but it's a
start. It contain an Erlang distribution, hg, and my enhanced version
of rebar to compile with Visual Studio 2005, 2008, or 2010.
Get ErlangWDE.zip from https://github.com/IRONkyle/ErlangWDE, unzip
it, and click on on one of the *.shell shortcuts (choose one based on
the Visual Studio version you want to use). Unlike the standard rebar
the enhanced rebar file doesn't need to be placed with every project
you create (it'll be picked up from the tools/rebar directory).
I tested it on a 64-bit Vista and a 32-bit XP... if you decide to try
it out let me know if you come across any problems.
