0.8 Fails to start but builds with no apparent errors

Hi,

Version 0.7.1 and before built and started fine on my Cent OS 5.4 system.

But the latest 0.8 version, builds fine, some warnings in the building of
the js driver but no errors.

Note: I did a fresh clone of the repo, after deleting my local instance.
Repeating the pattern I've been doing.

I built it using make all rel, as instructed in the README.

However when I try to start it I get this:
