Riak Recap for March 7 - 8

1) Franck Cuny and the team at Linkfluence published an extensive (and
downright fantastic) blog post about moving from CouchDB to Riak that
appeared early Monday.

4)  We announced a Riak and Node.js webinar. This will be happening on
March 15th.

5) The Python Client was bumped to version 1.2.1 and was pushed to PyPI.

6) Jason J. Williams wrote a great post on his blog comparing Riak and
CouchDB for storing and querying coupon data based on their needs over
at DigiTar.

7) We announced the date and lineup for the next San Francisco Riak
Meetup. It's happening on 3/22, and Coda Hale and Ryan Kennedy will be
talking about their experiences with Riak and Scala at Yammer.

8) Daniel Einspanjer recorded a screenscast to share some of the
updates that he as made to the MapReduce front end that he uses with
the Mozilla Test Pilot project. This is a great tool for getting a
more visual handle on your MapReduce jobs and, as he notes in the
video, he'll happily accept a pull request from anyone who is
interested in contributing.
